Principles of third angle projection
"Third angle projection" tells us how engineering drawings are laid out. This kind of projection always leads to a plan view being above an elevation. The most important view of a 3rd angle drawing is the elevation (front view). Place that first.
Standards and conventions
The SQA's official abridged version of the British Standard. Document also contains definitions for graphical terms and CAD tools.

Array
An array is a method of repeating a shape along a line, in a box or round a circle. Repeating the shape along an edge or line is called a Linear Array; around a circle is called a Radial Array.
Shell
The shell command is used to remove material from the inside of a 3D model to a specified wall thickness. It can also be used to remove a face from a model.
Modelling plans
Clear, precise, well illustrated modelling plans are a vital skill for N5 Graphic Communications
The Exemplar Modelling Plans document shows the correct answer for the modelling plan questions in the homework booklet.

Applied colour theory
This video uses different terms such as "complementary" and "analagous" to mean "contrasting" and "harmonious", but it contains some great advice for colour usage in graphic design.

Remote working
Remote working - the ability for people to work elsewhere from their colleagues or clients - is viewed as a positive and a negative. For some it offers a flexible and productive alternative to office-based normality. Others, though, find it isolating and miss the person-to-person contact.

This is how it used to be done
